Calvary Fellowship Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt 2011

Update 4/5/2012: If you're looking for info about the 2012 services, I posted it here.

You guys lucked out! I was just about to totally and publicly trash my Home Owners Association Board of Directors, Community Security Company and Community Property Managers. However, if you'd like to see that in the coming weeks, please take a moment to subscribe over in the right column. It will happen! I already published the non-Christian version somewhere else (email me using the contact page above if you're interested!) And don't worry, I won't spam you--that's run by Big Brother Google, like everything else.

Anyway, want to know why I opted for today's post instead of the negative one? Because Calvary Fellowship let me know this afternoon on Twitter that they had posted information on their Easter Celebration and what is billed as "Miramar's Largest Easter Egg Hunt." Also, they gave me some advice on that other situation. "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." Romans 12:18.

Here was the post from last year that let me know you are all interested this year. This year they will be offering three services on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 at 10 am, 11:30 am, and 1 pm at Everglades High School in Miramar, Florida. The address is 17100 SW 48th Court, Miramar, FL 33027. Click this link for a map and directions, but should you forget, this is south of Miramar Parkway. You should totally be going for the Resurrection Message, but you can have fun at the Egg Hunt too, which apparently will be held in conjunction with each service, giving away an iPod Touch at each hunt. Wow!

What I love about this church, at least as an observer, is that they have their services in a high school, they are techie capable, they have kid facilities to teach the youngsters about Jesus, they don't, um, screw around with expecting you to wear your suit and tie, and they seem to be your everyday people that love God while getting rid of the stuffy stereotype. Check out some of their other programs too while you're visiting their website.

Have fun. Learn about Jesus. Maybe I'll meet you there.
